We recommend giving at least 20-25 feet of clearance between your fire pit and any coverings above it. Heat sensitive or easily tarnished materials may require additional clearance to maintain a clean finish. Crafting a safe space now will let you focus on what’s important later. Keep in mind that if you burn in a screen enclosed room, ash may collect on the surfaces in the room.
