Thanks for the question. The MAG6.1 system uses six satellite speakers plus one subwoofer, and they are not 8-ohm speakers. Per the system’s design:
The subwoofer is ~8 ohms up to the crossover point
Each satellite is effectively ~16 ohms down to the crossover point, and three satellites in parallel on a channel work out to ~5.3 ohms.
So, across the full frequency range, each channel ends up being an 8 ohm load at low frequencies, smoothly transitioning to a ~5.3 ohm load at mid and high frequencies, not 2 ohms.
That’s why the MAG6.1 is stable and supported on a Sonos Amp when wired per the included instructions, the amp is not being asked to drive a true 2-ohm load.
