    • Answer I don't have another sonos speaker to accurately say, but if the Sonos Ray or Move can somehow connect to the amp via wifi then yes.

  • QuestionDo you need 1 amp per zone (kitchen, backyard, etc…)? Or do you need one amp per zone to control each zone independently?

This will give you the flexibility to group all zones together and play the same content across all zones, or operate them independently with different volume levels and different content in each zone/room.   • QuestionI bought the 6.1 system with the Sonos Amp as this was the best price. I’d only like to use 4 speakers as this is ideal for my smaller backyard. Would this be ok? Or will it mess up the system?

  • Question1. Will the 6.1 system allow me to stream music from the iTunes library on my laptop via the internet? 2. Can I mount the amplifier in a weatherproof enclosure in South Florida (will hot weather and humidity negatively impact the amplifier?)

The Sonos app will allow you to listen to music from your music library and stream music from some of the top music streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and more.   • QuestionI would like to do an outdoor TV with a Sonos Soundbar in my pavilion. Can the soundbar be hooked up/paired to this speaker system so that the TV will play through all the speakers instead of just the soundbar?

  • QuestionCan I daisy chain the speakers or do I have to alternate left and right

All speakers, including the subwoofer, are wired in a daisy-chain configuration, alternating between left and right channels (left, right, left, right, and so on).     • Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. The subwoofer in the Sonance MAG6.1 System does not require its own power source. The subwoofer is passive and is powered directly by the Sonos Amp.   • Questionwant to use speaker volume controller. Will this work with Mag 6.1 ? Don't want kids using sono's app to change volume. Volume controller will auto match impedance as says up to 4 pairs of speakers @ 4 ohms. any concerns? I Don't play music loud

The Sonos Amp delivers 125 watts per channel, which exceeds the typical 60-watt rating of most volume controls, leading to potential overheating, distortion, or damage. Even with impedance matching, manual controls can interfere with system performance. We do not recommend installing the Sonos amp in a location that would expose it to excessive heat, cold, water, moisture, etc. Installing the amplifier in a place that is open to outside elements could shorten the expected usable life of the Sonos amp.     • Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. The speaker wire is sold separately. We recommend choosing wire size based on the distance between the amp to the furthest speaker. Here are our recommendations: 18 gauge - For distances up to 100 feet 16 gauge - For distances up to 150 feet 14 gauge - For distances up to 250 feet As a best practice, we recommend 14/4 direct-burial speaker wire be used when installing the system.   • QuestionCan I use a different amplifier with this kit? I’d like to add on to my Denon HEOS system, and sell the amp that comes with this kit. Would I just hook up all 5 channels to the 14/4 cable? My concern is the subwoofer getting the correct power and Ohms.
