MartinLogan Foundation Series products redefine affordability by incorporating many of MartinLogan's renowned high-performance technologies at accessible prices. Leveraging 40 years of design and engineering prowess and offering MartinLogan’s renowned thin-film performance, Motion Foundation is a gateway into the world of true hi-fi sound. With a choice of 5 different models in 3 different finishes, Motion Foundation speakers are an ideal foundation for building a high performance Stereo or Surround sound system. Bringing high end performance to a wider audience, Motion Foundation offers incredible immersion for all your favorite content. Motion Foundation speakers feature the incredible performance of the Gen2 FMT S, bringing much of the same performance found in our/their larger siblings, in a more compact and affordable package. This high-performance tweeter is paired with a custom Folded Motion Waveguide offering consistent, smooth, and controlled sound across the listening space delivering incredible performance in every seat while also reducing some of the harmful effects of room acoustics. Rounding out the sound are specially designed aluminum woofers for both the midrange and bass drivers offering robust and detailed performance across the board. Motion Foundation models are available in 3 elegant finishes to compliment any decor: Black, Satin White, and Walnut.

By far the most popular size for in-ceiling speakers, the MC6 features a 6.5” woofer with higher power handling, greater output capability, and improved bass response over the smaller MC4. This model works without a built-in enclosure to allow the speaker to use more airspace for higher performance. For applications where sound control is desired, an optional retrofittable back enclosure is available separately. As with all Motion series CI speakers, the MC6 uses MartinLogan’s signature Folded Motion Tweeter for precise clarity and incredible realism to meet all your entertainment needs. All MartinLogan Motion CI Series speakers feature our signature Folded Motion Tweeter or FMT. This innovative piece of audio technology provides incredible detail, precise clarity, clean output and high efficiency in a small but mighty package. Pairing this tweeter with lightweight woven fiberglass woofers means that Motion CI delivers a clean and balanced sound that is perfectly suited for any application.
