  • QuestionI recently purchased one. Now, I'm not sure how to wire it. There are 2 + and 2- ports. Do I use two separate speaker wires? Happy New Year!!! Thanks

    Asked by Ed.

    • Answer This speaker is a dual coil speaker. You can use it as a single stereo speaker (i.e. in a small space such as a bathroom, etc.) or as a surround speaker. If you are going to use it as a single stereo speaker, then you will run two speaker cables to it (left and right) - connecting one of the cables +/= to one terminal side and the other speaker cable +/- to the other terminal side. Be sure to keep the SST/SUR switch on the back of the speaker set to "SST" in this scenario. If you are going to use it as a surround speaker, you can wire one speaker cable to it connecting +/- to either of the terminals. Then, switch the SST/SUR switch on the back to "SUR". In this scenario, be sure you are. not connecting cables to both +/- terminals as it could cause damage to your amp. Hope this helps.
