The Sonance VXXT6 speakers are passive speakers, which means they do require an external amplifier to operate and cannot connect directly to a Samsung TV on their own. For a clean and reliable setup, we typically recommend using a quality 2-channel amplifier. A great option for this setup would be the Sonance UA 2-125 ARC amplifier (Best Buy SKU: 6635174).
