“Can this amp be placed in a closed cabinet? I'm concerned about the heat.”

• I have this driving a pair of Definitive Technology AW6500WHI speakers and a Sonance 10” outdoor sub and there have been no heat issues. I know this for a fact because I have a fan in my closed cabinet that kicks on when the temp hits 90 degrees and it hasn’t turned on once while the system is in operation.

• Hi, and thank you for your question. We would not recommend putting it in a closed cabinet for 2 reason. The first is heat dissipation. Although we use incredibly efficient amplifiers heat is still lost and needs a place to go. The other is wifi signal. Having a completely closed cabinet could interrupt wifi connection potentially depending on the material of the cabinet.
