“Can the Arc sit n the mantle which is about 6" below the tv or should it be mounted on th etv?”

• Check the depth of your mantle, and make sure there is enough space for the arc as well as the wire connections for it rest on the mantle. Also consider the opportunity cost of putting other stuff on the mantle. If you mount the Arc on the TV, you do free up space on the mantle, allowing for you for open space on the mantle.
