You might experience voice lag that cannot be synced up with the controls at hand. I have my ARC connected to my Samsung QN65Q80R hdmi Arc port and then have my cable box and Roku box “HDMI connected to the remaining ports on the tv. I have to adjust both the Sonos Arc and my Samsung lag settings to the minimum yet still have noticeable lag.

You’ll need a new one for the arc if you want one that’s longer than 3 feet. My setup runs the cable through the wall from the arc to the tv. I needed an hdmi cable of 15 feet. I got one that was copper, and the cable cost $200.
