I have not tried to wirelessly connect new speakers to my amplifier. But I have direct connection with two Bose 791 ceiling speakers and wireless Sonos Arc and subwoofer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We just recently bought the Sonos Arc because you can use other brands of speakers with it. We had bose surround speakers that had been hardwired years ago. You do need to get a amp to utilize the sonos soundbar to use the speakers. We had a bose system for many years and felt it gave a much richer sound utilizing the speakers we already had added to the sonos soundbar alone.
