I didn't own a Beam so I can't compare. That being said, I have a vaulted ceiling and I'm not sure if I'm getting the full effect of Dolby Atmos. I still think the Arc is an excellent product and would buy it again.

Nope. You really gotta have the optimal ceiling/wall/couch placement for atmos it seems, which is not surprising.

Hi, and thank you for reaching out. This is a great question. We believe you'll see a substantial difference. The Arc has 11 speakers powered by 11 amplifiers. Built in discrete surround sound and top firing speakers that work with Atmos, or help with bass response when not watching Atmos content. The Beam sounds great for it's size, but in a room that large we would recommend the Arc. You can then put the Beam on a secondary Tv in your home! :)
