The Arc must use the new (launching June 8th) Sonos app. There is an easy upgrade path from your current Sonos app to the new app as long as all of your current Sonos speakers are compatible with the new app. The only players that are NOT compatible with the new app are Connect and Connect:Amps that were produced prior to 2015, the Play:5 (Gen 1), and any product that was named with "ZP". If you have any of these players, they will have to stay on the S1 app and will not work directly with products that are on the new Sonos app. You can find more information on this at sonos.com/support by searching for S2.
