The Sonos sub needs wifi to work. That's how the arc and sub talk, and how it syncs audio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On the sonos app, does it show the sub gen3 is connected to wifi? Yes, it doesn't need to be hard wired to work. But i believe all sonos products works though wifi. Maybe try to disconnect the sub and reconnect by the app.
