“I have the ARC hooked up to Wi-Fi and it seems to recognize the Sub but not sure any sound is coming out of the Sub. I do not have the ability to hook up the Sub to Wi-Fi, will it work without being hooked up to Wi-Fi? Thank you!”

• The Sonos sub needs wifi to work. That's how the arc and sub talk, and how it syncs audio.

• On the sonos app, does it show the sub gen3 is connected to wifi? Yes, it doesn't need to be hard wired to work. But i believe all sonos products works though wifi. Maybe try to disconnect the sub and reconnect by the app.

• The Sub must be connected to the Arc via a network connection. This would either have to be wifi, or with an ethernet cable. Please reach out to us if you need help with this at support.sonos.com
