“Does the voice enhancement on the Beam (Gen 2) really make a big difference in being able to clearly hear dialogue? Would consider buying to clearly hear voice dialogue alone. Frequently background sound drowns out dialogue in current home theatre setup.”

It really helped me. I’m 71 years old and have worn hearing aids for over 15 years. I can now understand dialogue much more clearly at a volume that doesn’t drive my wife out of the room. Background music that plays during so many TV shows is also less of a problem.

He hasn't been able to hear sportscasters or television dialog of any sort for years. We always use subtitles but over the years, he has simply lost interest in television all together. Enter the beam....he can hear the dialog again. I think it's fantastic. I can hear the dialog better as well.
