“I was told that if I set up the BEAM2US1 along with two FIVE1US1's, two ONEG2US1's and one SUBG3US1, only the BEAM and SUB have to be plugged in to a power source. Is this correct?”

• Thank you for your question! All of our products must be plugged into a power source except for our portable products Roam, and Move.

• To my knowledge, all Sonos speakers need 120 volt power. I have a 5.1 setup in my living room and my playbar, sub, and both play1’s are connected to wall power. The playbar is the only speaker connected to Ethernet, and all the other speakers are connected to the network via Wi-Fi.
