Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your Sony Sound Bar uses WiFi to connect, or you can use Ethernet cables to connect directly to your router. No Bluetooth for this speaker. Approximately 69 music services to choose or subscribe to. I don't specifically know the interface of your HT-ST5000 Sound bar, but the above describes what Sonos One speakers can connect with. The speaker, and the Alexa capability, works beautifully with other Sonos products--I use two of these with a Sonos Playbar and the sound is fantastic. The Playbar does seamless double-duty, going from an auxiliary stereo speaker (when I'm streaming music) to the primary speaker (the Sonos Ones becoming surround speakers) when I turn the TV on. Could you do all this with another brand of soundbar? I seriously doubt it.

Please try again later.As far as I know Sonos can only be paired with Sonos system; however if you ask your Best Buy Associate or even better the Sonos people you can somehow get it to work with other speakers by purchasing the sono connect with amp I believe.
