• Thanks for your question. The Sonos One, and Play 1 will play the same thing at the same time as long as both are running the S2 software (sand colored app). They just can't be stereo paired, or used as rear surround sounds together.

• It will work just fine. You need to make sure that your app is updated for the Sonos controller 1 and 2… I have four in my house and they play seamlessly together…
