Double check which model you have. Sonos One and SL will support airplay2 but the play 1 will not. They look similar.

Make sure that this speaker is connected to the same WiFi network as your iPhone and not a guest network or other network. Additionally, you must download the Sonos app and do the initial set up of this speaker through the app for it to show up as an Airplay device.
