The speakers are not "waterproof" although I was told they are 'water resistant'. Having said that I would not permanently mount them outside. I wanted to do the same thing you are asking about but, instead, I just move the speakers outside, plug them in and turn on the music as needed. It is a bit more "work" but once plugged in they reconnect immediately to your network so it really isn't that tedious (unless you can't easily access the speakers in the first place...).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sonos does not currently make an outdoor speaker model and the current line is not rated for exposure to weather. I take these outside for use on our deck but always bring them back in. I'm not aware of any other speaker that would sync with the Sonos platform.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn’t do it unless there is a patio or some sort of overhead cover. These are not all weather so if they were to get wet, I don’t think they would hold up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as i know, these speakers are NOT weather proof, however i do know that the Play1 is moisture resistant meaning you can put them in a bathroom without worry. If you want, you can use the Sonos Connect Amp to wire up some outdoor all weather speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this model is not waterproof.
