Yes, the sound card/wireless card failure issue happened to me when my Sonos was outside of warranty window. I contacted Sonos, submitted the diagnosis per their instruction, and they sent a brand new speaker to replace the defect one for free.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The problem is actually with the WiFi card, and yes Sonos will replace the unit even if it's out of warranty. I just got off the phone with them and I purchased my unit in June of 2017, and they are replacing it for free.
