As long as you have the “hotspot” option with your provider you can connect very local devices through it. Works great as a temporary solution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You use your iphone using the Sonos app and it controls and plays music trough the WiFi. There is an aux port in the back and you could attach a Bluetooth receiver to it. In the near future Sonos is adding airplay 2 and you will be able to play your music using airplay 2. But that requires you to have a router/WiFi.
