“What is the maximum room size for one speaker to give great performance?”

• I have high ceilings and I have the speaker in an opening on top of my kitchen wall that separates the living room. My house is 4000 square feet and I am amazed of how the sound reaches everywhere in the house and you can still hear the music outside. I would recommend this speaker for an all around home sound

• I have my play 5 in an open floor plan of about 900 sq ft. and it’s more than enough. It’s too much for a standard size bedroom.

• They can get pretty loud and have good bass response- I have one in my living room with vaulted ceilings- it’s about 15 x 22 and provides more than enough punch- if you’re looking for a full effect- you could add a couple of play 1’s for a more surround feel
