• Sure you can but I am not sure why. I will say this, if you have an old CRT computer display, it will fit right under it. The physical footprint of this unit is pretty big so, if you have your computer display on yur desck you might be rethinking your choice .

• I can play music from my IPad over the wireless network in my home. Should work for a conventional computer with wireless connectivity.

• I use a Mac mini as a media player. You don’t even need a screen. I run everything from my iPad. It Is not the intended use though.
