Yes. There is a setting called TV Autoplay (Sertings > room settings > *select room which has the playbase* > TV > TV Autoplay). This is on by default and basically if there is sound coming from the TV, it’ll automatically switch to use the TV as the input. And if you start playing music to that room via the Sonos app (or Airplay), it will automatically switch input to music as well.

Please try again later.Yes it will hook up To your tv as long as it has a digital optical on your tv you get a free app to download to your phone and tablet to control volume and you can access your whole music library threw your phone weather it be iTunes or pandora and other services. 4K movies sound amazing on the playbase and music sounds fantastic too. Once you hook up the playbase there were be option in the app to add more speakers to it like the play ones subwoofer or anything else sonos makes.
