The stand on my Samsung is the same. The Playbase is solidly built and can handle that.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Playbase seems pretty sturdy, but you could always place something inbetween the two to help balance the weight distribution. Wood strips (paint them black if you want) along the perimeter under the TV feet could work in a pinch.
