“I'm going to be using the Ray as a single speaker in a room but also as part of my Sonos network throughout my house. The rest of my speakers are Gen 1 and controlled by my Gen 1 Sonos app on my phone. Will the Ray have any compatibility issues with this?”

• you can downgrade the ray to the sonos gen 2 app but if you continue to purchase more speakers you may wat to upgrade all gen 2 products and use the 2 apps

• I don’t have gen 1 speakers. But from other reviews sounds like there’s separate apps for the new gen speakers
