I purchased 2x Sonos SL One Gen2 speakers, didnt realize that you also need a Sonos soundbar to sync with my Samsung TV. I read that the Beam will work via "e ARC" but see the Ray only connects via Fiberoptic. Is there a difference or preference? null

if youre looking for sound quality, beam if youre looking for lowest price get the ray

eARC is the newest and better option since it runs through hdmi. Fiber optic is just as good in my opinion, I’ve never had an issue.

Thanks for your question! A Sonos soundbar is needed for a TV connection, and the Beam or Ray are both great options. The sound difference between the two are sound quality and volume. The Beam will be great for medium to large rooms where the Ray is great for smaller listening environments. It all depends on your budget and what size of experience you are looking to have.
