“Will the Roam work in my car, or must it be connected to an internet source?”

It should if you pair it with your phone via Bluetooth.

It can also connect via Bluetooth so yes, it will work in the car as long as it’s battery life.

IT WILL WORK IF YOUR PHONE IS PLAYING THROUGH BLUETOOTH THROUGH IT YEAH, NO WIFI NEEDED

Yes, Roam works just like a portable Bluetooth speaker when not connected to a wireless network.
