• There is no acoustic difference between the Gen 2 and Gen 3 subs. The Gen 3 Sub has updated internal processing and memory power and is designed to take advantage of any new features that come to the Sonos platform.

• I’m seeing 15.3” height by 15.8” width, so I’m not sure where your seeing your dimensions. SONOS stated that acoustics are the same.
