Q: QuestionI was previously told a new black matte finish sub was going to be coming out (I am not a fan of the glossy finish). When will it be available ? Thanks
Asked by SM.
- A:Answer We had the same concern, so I called Sonos directly about a month ago. They informed me that they have discontinued the matte black and are only producing them in glossy black or glossy white. We're over it now as it is otherwise a clean, sleek modern design.

Q: QuestionCan I hook this up to my receiver? I don't intend to use it for watching movies, but rather to add bass to my music system. I have a record player hooked up to a receiver and the receiver is hooked up to a sonos connect already.
Asked by Matt.
- A:Answer Hi, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately our SUB will not connect to a receiver. It will only connect wirelessly with other Sonos products!

Q: QuestionIs the sub all black? From the picture, it looks like there's a white triangle extending from the top to the bottom. Amazon has an all black model: should I buy from them to get all black?
Asked by Blaise.
- A:Answer Totally all black and beautiful.

Q: QuestionWhat is the wattage on this sub?
Asked by BMan.
- A:Answer The fact that Sonos won't publish power should make you suspect. I don't know of any other real subwoofer company (I'm not going to include Bose because it shouldn't be considered with the others I'm about to list) that doesn't list power. I'm talking about PSA, JTR, Rythmik, Hsu, SVS, Monolith, Arendal, etc. They all list power. I'm not saying this doesn't play well but why not list the power?
