Some users have reported cracks but mine have never had an issue. Buy the Geek Squad protection and you should be good to go.

Please try again later.nope, i had a pair that was creaking really bad then they cracked, i liked the headphones so i got a second pair they were creaking again so i decided to return them. If you want the recommendation, then get the pxc 550 they have great sound quality but the noise cancelling isn't as good
