“Is there a front and rear speaker switch? I don't need surround sound, just front stereo and rear stereo (in another room) that can be played separately or simultaneously via a switch. I want equal quality sound in both rooms.”

You can switch off the surround sound to only use the front stereo speakers and you can turn them back on for multiroom audio. But it's going to be the same sound in both rooms you can't run separate outputs to each room.
