• YES, you can. I plug in my Chromecast to it and hear the sound on the receiver and picture on the TV. You will have to run HDMI from receiver (out) to TV (in).

• Hi jimbob, we suggest to hook up the Amazon firestick directly to the TV as an alternative, then make sure that the audio settings of the TV are set to external speakers. Regards, _Bob
