“Hi there! Is it possible to connect 3ohms speakers to this reciever? The fact is that I have an old sony home theater and I would like to use some speakers of them. If i connect two speaker of 3 ohms each in serial mode, is it possible.? thanks”

Hello. You can only connect the speakers in series if the receiver ohm load is 6ohms. You can look on the back of the receiver by the speaker terminals to see the ohm loads. I would highly recommend you look into buying 8ohm speakers. I have blown two receivers center and back rear channels using the lower ohm loads. Even when I wired them in series. I use 8 ohm speakers and I have not had any issues yet.
