Hi Robin, The receiver doesn't have a PHONO input for standard turntables. If the turntable has a built-in amplifier, you may use the inputs on this receiver. You may refer to page 35 of the link below for more information: https://docs.sony.com/release//Manual_4686524121.pdf ~Ralph
