Yes, but if you want to display the audio format by default, you need to press the Display buton on the front panel until it shows the audio method. I have a lot of 4K blu-ray movies with Dolby Atmos, and once you've setup everything right, it's great to see "D Atmos" on the panel and hear the great immersive sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it does not and it's super annoying
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The display shows the audio format when it is first detected. It scrolls across the display and then the display goes back to showing the input source. I believe you can show it again using a button on the amp or the remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Auto decode whatever audio signal is being passed through. For example, if I were to play a Blu-ray and select the English Atmos audio track, would the display on the receiver show Atmos is playing? Then if I were to switch to the Audio Commentary and that track was a stereo track, would the display show 2.0 Stereo?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes on display depending on which HDMI connections you have made. Auto decode what?
