I set mine up with the following 5:1:2 configuration (2 front, 2 surround, 1 center, 1 base, 2 height). The height speakers would be for top firing on the Sony.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hook the "Front A" (L/R) speaker outputs from the receiver to the main inputs on your speaker - they should be clearly labeled. Then hook the "surround back/height" speaker outputs from the receiver to the second pair of speaker inputs. You'll also need to go into the speaker menu on the receiver to tell it you have height speakers not surround back speakers.
