What is the optimal hookup for four speakers initially? Two fronts to "Front A" and two rears to "Surround" or "Surround back/height"? Does it matter either way? I'll be adding more speakers later on and will reconfigure then. null

If you use an HDMI out to your TV you can use the graphic interface and this amp has many different settings for all speaker options. I believe the best setting for you is going to be LF RF LS and RS. I don’t know if it had rear height and fronts as an option but I remember when setting up 7.1 there was configurations in it I hadn’t thought of.

If they are not wall mounted, then you want surround, not surround back/height.
