Most will need an RCA ( subwoofer cable ) . An active subwoofer has its own AMP and only needs light pulses , thus the smaller lighter chord.

The subwoofer connection is a RCA cable connection. This connector has both positive and negative wires tied to the connector. (inner post, outer ring) You can cut the other side of the cable and expose both wires and connect to the subwoofer speaker.

Hi jignesh,

Unfortunately, you can only hook up a subwoofer to this AV Receiver that has a RCA/Component cable only.
