“This might be a silly one. Recently got a 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 lens for my a6000. Wouln't mine do the same what this wide lens does? I need a good lense for a lanscape pictures for my upcoming trip. Thanks”

No such thing as silly if you’re learning! Your lens is a zoom, so if you would like to get close to a sunset or tree in the distance, it would be perfect. This lens is lower in mm (16 vs 55) so the lens is going to be more curved. You’ll be able to get a wider shot, but no zoom.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi orintajp, the SEL16mm is a wide angle lens. Compared to the telephoto SEL55-210, there is a big difference in the coverage and angle of view. A 16mm lens can possible cover the whole basketball court while the 55-210 may only cover half of it. Hope this helps. Regards, Zander
