- Best answer: No such thing as silly if you’re learning! Your lens is a zoom, so if you would like to get close to a sunset or tree in the distance, it would be perfect. This lens is lower in mm (16 vs 55) so the lens is going to be more curved. You’ll be able to get a wider shot, but no zoom.
- A: Hi Rose, the lens is compatible with A7rii with some restrictions (1) The angle of view will be narrower down to that of APS-C size. (2) The "Focal plane phase detection AF" function does not work.
