• I would say it depends where you are shooting from. Personally, I would go with a bit of a larger mm and maybe a zoom option.

• Lighting wise it is fine although for video it may not be the best unless audio will be from another source . It’s auto focus is slightly noisy for video purposes.

• It will be very wide, but it’s able to shoot pretty fast with the f2.8. Hockey arenas tend to have pretty good lighting, so you should be good to go!
