No. These are not your headphones. Don't make the same mistake I did. While these are great sounding headphones, they are really made for phones/tablets/laptops. Sony doesn't recommend using a 1/8" adapter for pro audio equipment/stereo receivers. If I did it again, I'd get the Sony MDR7506 old school, studio tested headphones. Good luck.

Yes. That is exactly why I got these. No batteries, no noise reduction, no wireless to mess with.

As long as you have the correct cable adapters (if needed) for the headphones going into your audio source, you should be fine.
