• I cant adjust the subwoofer volume independently of the soundbar, though I should be able to. Dont know if it's a remote control problem or an electronic problem. And of course the problem came up just days after the warranty expired.

• You can turn it off. In the back of the sub. Also you can adjust the volume of the sub as well.
