• You just plug the soundbar & sub woofer into a outlet. The sub is Bluetooth compatible so it pairs to the soundbar when turned on.

• Hi Spyder, the soundbar comes with an active subwoofer, it needs to be plugged into a power source. It is not capable of running on batteries Thanks, -Mark
