• Yes. Just turn off the sound bar and it switches automatically to the internal TV speakers and vice versa.

• In my experience, you have to set the TV to output to the soundbar. At that point, the TV speakers cease to work. The TV remote will raise and lower the TV volume indicator, but nothing will come out of the TV. I have to use the soundbar remote to adjust the level to the soundbar. But I do have my DirectTV remote set to adjust my Sony TV and my soundbar volume so I can only use one remote. To get sound out of the TV I have to go into the TV menu and change my sound output back to the TV's internal speakers.

• No the sound bar takes control if you have a Sony tv. I have an lg and you can shut it off and play sound out of tv
