“Can’t get subwoofer to link to soundbar. Not using an hdmi cable. Using optical cable, the home screen with the soundbar settings doesn’t display. So I do not know how to link up the soundbar and subwoofer without using tv. Can u help?”

The subwoofer should automatically sync up with the sound bar all you have to do is turn on your woofer speaker and plug it in the wall of course and the Soundbar will automatically sync with the woofer there should be no installations or manual hookups as far as HDMI it should Bluetooth connect by itself I did not have a problem with it so you might have a bad sound bar / speaker woofer
