Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Sony uses buttons on the remote: “voice, music, etc.” are pre-set for enhancement. The amount of bass can also be controlled. When I’m really interested in the dialogue, I use “voice” and lower the bass. This sound bar, suggested when I communicated with Sony, is a reasonable replacement for the older Sony AV receiver that lost several of its functions recently and wouldn’t properly communicate with my 8-year old Sony tv. Sony, Bose, and Sonos all make superior-sounding sound bars that even further enhance voice and cost more money. When I replace my tv, I’ll probably upgrade to something even better. If you’re interested in the more immersive sound experience available for larger rooms that’s available in many of today’s movies, this unit might not be for you. Consider your present and future needs and listen to the sound bars in the store.
