• This will work in addition to TV speakers.

• Hi Bob, TV's have this Audio Settings where you can select a certain speakers to be active. The options available are TV SPEAKERS or EXTERNAL SPEAKERS. Once a Sound bar is connected, you need to select external speakers in the audio settings for it to work. Thanks, >Joffrey
