Hello Woofless, thank you for your message. Impedance means that a point in a circuit (a node) allows a relatively small amount of current through, per unit of applied voltage at that point. High impedance circuits are low current, high voltage, whereas low impedance circuits are the opposite. The only requirement for supported & compatibility speakers in general is the impendance. According to specs, Minimum RMS Output Power1) (6 ohms, 20 Hz – 20 kHz, THD 0.09%) 95 W + 95 W Stereo Mode Output Power1) (6 ohms, 1 kHz, THD 1%) 110 W + 110 W / Surround Mode Output Power1)2) (6 ohms, 1 kHz, THD 0.9%) 150 W per channel.
