“Are the new Sony SS-CS5 and SS-CS3 speakers suitable for this receiver? I would like to connect all four speakers to this receiver for listening to CDs in my home office, but I'm not sure if the receiver can handle it. I've already purchased these speakers (on sale) and was looking at this receiver since it's a basic 2 channel model...I will not be hooking it up to a TV. Any suggestions are appreciated, as I'm finding the process of choosing a receiver and speakers to be confusing.”

Yes you can hook up all four speakers because it has a special off/a/b/a+b button on the front

In regards to your concerns, unfortunately the speakers you are mentioning are not suitable for the model number of receiver (STR-DH130). The rated impedance is 6 ohms and the system would require a rated impedance from 8-10 ohms. *Oscar
